Spring is a busy time for us. First Communions, Confirmation, May Crowning, the closing of our religious education year, Baccalaureate for High School Seniors...and the annual St. Anthony Novena all take our time over the next weeks. While your own schedules are probably as busy, don't forget the faith family and what we do to mark this season. These rituals are important because they identify us, they give us our purpose and meaning.
With the Capital Campaign for our future still underway we are possibly closer to breaking ground for the bell tower and other exterior improvements to the parish. We look to other needs like an accessible hall, just one of the several projects looming in the future to make our parish plant fit for the future.
Envisioning Ministry for the future continues to be a focus for our cluster. Along with our sister parishes along the river, our parish representatives have gathered to brainstorm ideas and goals in cooperation as we face a declining number of clergy available for parish ministry. Stay tuned! |
